Cancellation & Refund Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for Dreamliy subscriptions.
1. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:
- No refund is issued for the current billing period
- You retain full access to all features until the end of the current billing period
- Your account will automatically downgrade to the free plan at the end of the period
- Your stories and settings are preserved
2. No Refund Policy
Dreamliy provides digital content and AI-generated services. Because digital content is consumed immediately upon creation, we generally do not offer refunds after a payment is processed.
This applies to:
- Monthly subscription charges
- Any partial month usage
- Story generations already consumed
By completing payment, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.
3. Technical Error Exception
If you experience a verified technical error that prevented you from accessing or using the service, you may be eligible for a credit or refund. To request this:
- Contact us at hello@dreamliy.com within 7 days of the charge
- Describe the technical issue in detail
- Include any error messages or screenshots
We will review your request and respond within 5 business days.
4. Subscription Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You will receive an email reminder before renewal. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel before the renewal date.
5. Payment Processing
All payments are processed by LemonSqueezy, our merchant of record. LemonSqueezy may have its own refund policies for certain payment methods or regions. For payment-related disputes, you may also contact LemonSqueezy directly.
5a. One-Time Story Packages
One-time story packages are valid for 30 days from the date of purchase.
Unused story credits expire permanently at the end of the 30-day period. No refunds are issued for partial use or expiry.
One-time packages do not auto-renew.
6. Gift Codes
Gift codes purchased on Dreamliy are subject to the following terms:
- Gift codes are valid for 90 days from the date of purchase. Codes that are not activated within this window expire permanently and cannot be reactivated.
- Once a gift code is activated, the package period begins immediately and cannot be paused or extended.
- No refunds are issued for gift code purchases, whether the code is unused, expired, or partially used.
- Unused story credits remaining at the end of a package period expire and are not refundable.
- If a gift code was purchased in error or not delivered, contact us at hello@dreamliy.com within 7 days of purchase.
7. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback through your bank or payment provider without first contacting us, your account may be suspended pending resolution. We encourage you to contact us first — we are committed to resolving issues fairly.
